Cyber Security Engineer

Design, implement, deliver, and support cyber security and compliance solutions across hybrid and cloud environments, aligning with Australian Government cyber security and business requirements. Configure and monitor Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Security and Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Defender 365, Defender ATP, and PAM; automate delivery through Infrastructure as Code. Conduct vulnerability scanning, preferably using Qualys, analyse and report findings, and produce detailed designs, high-level designs, as-built documentation, and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with business, technology, external supplier, and subject-matter teams. This is an 11-month contract based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.
