DevOps Engineer (Artificial Intelligence)

Design, build, evaluate and operate AI-enabled features and services within national research data products. Develop and maintain large language model and retrieval-augmented generation search, conversational and agent-based tools, plus AI and ML tools for research. Select, integrate and evaluate models and AI services, testing for quality, reliability, bias and safety. Deploy and operate AI and ML workloads including model serving, vector and search stores and CI/CD pipelines, monitoring performance, usage and cost. Apply secure, privacy-preserving practice and AI governance requirements, working in a distributed DevOps team.
