About the role
The intern supports a site reliability engineering team responsible for large-scale storage, compute, and database infrastructure. Duties include maintaining reliability standards and recovery procedures, troubleshooting technical issues, performing bottleneck analysis, and improving high-availability architecture. The role involves building automated operations solutions for large-scale systems, working with system development teams, and supporting cost optimization across large CPU fleets. Candidates need Linux, storage, and network I/O fundamentals, design patterns and coding principles, plus experience in at least one of C, C++, Java, Go, or Python. Preferred exposure includes Kubernetes, containers, big data systems, and service mesh.
