Senior Cyber Threat Analysts - Defender, Essential Eight- Federal Government!

Lead proactive cyber threat hunting, intrusion investigations, malware analysis and incident response across complex enterprise environments. Investigate security incidents, analyse malicious activity and support containment while conducting threat intelligence research, threat modelling and vulnerability identification. Produce technical investigation reports, recommend remediation strategies and contribute to cyber security capability uplift. Work with Microsoft Defender, Advanced Hunting (KQL), Elastic/Kibana, ExtraHop and security log analysis, applying knowledge of Australian Government security frameworks including the ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight, with strong stakeholder engagement and technical reporting skills.
